Our vision is to contribute to the socio-economic growth of Haiti and the standard of living of households through the strengthening of the economic empowerment of women following the fact that institutions (public and private) have adopted the model of gender diversity in their organizational culture and in their projects.
Nahomie JB Millien is a dynamic professional with solid academic skills and more than ten years of experience in development interventions in the public and private sectors. She worked as a team leader, technical specialist in the different stages of the project cycle from design to evaluation. She has collaborated on various projects in the areas of CBO capacity building, female leadership and women's empowerment, emergency response management and community development.
She develops strategies for the integration of gender in projects and in the organizational structures of institutions. She places emphasis on the response to gender-based violence and gender diversity in the workplace. To confirm her achievements in Gender Audit, she passed the Certification "Participative Gender Audit" from ILO.
Nahomie completed an undergraduate degree in Information Technology at the Ecole Supérieure d’Infotronique in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. She received a master’s degree in Project Management from Quisqueya University in Haiti and another master’s degree in Project Evaluation from the University of Rennes, in France. Nahomie also holds a number of certificates from reputable academic and continuing education institutions in Haiti and abroad. She is certified by the World Labor Organization for the use of the Participatory Gender Audit methodology.
Marie Jude Valerie is an Educator, Trainer and Gender Consultant. after a licence in Modern Literature (Literatures and Modern Languages) at Ecole Normale Supérieure (ENS) /the University of Haiti She is doing a Master's degree in Educational Science at University Franche Comté. She owns a specialization in "Gender Studies" at Quisqueya and E-learning at University of Lille (France).
She was the former Director of the Women's Development Center (CDF) at Relief International (Project funded by Soroptimist and Hassen Field / USAID where she coordinate the Curriculum Development (Non-Formal Education) Course for SME Creation and Management, Financial Literature, Women's Leadership, Prevention of Violence Based on Gender - Literacy for women and girls.
Now She is working as Gender’s Consultant at a Vocational Training Educational program to Strengthen the "Gender component" in all activities of Job Creation and Sustainable Income and Vocational Training Centers (CFP) - Organize in training centers partners of the program and associations of women's organizations some of training sessions in: Promotion of women's rights; Gender stereotypes: feminine and masculine qualities; Consequences of female and male stereotypes; Equality between men and women and women's empowerment; Gender and development- leadership and entrepreneurship
